Dr. David White

Dr. David C.White currently practices at Duke Thoracic Surgery of Raleigh on the campus of Duke Raleigh Hospital. Here, he provides surgical evaluation and treatment for the full spectrum of thoracic disease, including minimally invasive lobectomy and biopsies. Dr. White is the Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Duke University Medical Center in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. After attending undergrad at Princeton University, Dr. White went to medical school at the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine. He completed both his internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center. He is certified by both the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Jennifer Garst

Dr. Jennifer Garst is the Associate Professor of Oncology at Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center. She attended the Medical College of Georgia followed by her internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern and her Hematology/Oncology residency at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Garst’s clinical interests include lung cancer, both non-small cell and small cell, cancer clinical trials and clinical research, general hematology and medical oncology, supportive care for lung cancer patients, multimodality treatment approaches for lung cancer, lung cancer vaccine clinical trials, genomic approaches to managing lung cancer and lung cancer as a women's health issue.
