General gastroenterology; diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy; colon cancer screening and surveillance; health-services research, specifically quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of medical care in gastroenterology

Research Interests
I am a gastroenterologist and health services researcher with an interest in optimizing health care value. My current research is focused on the use of systems engineering methodologies, including discrete event simulation modeling, to improve the quality and efficiency of health care delivery.
