Patients with medical illness and psychiatric illness, somatic disorders, medical conditions resistant to standard measures, complicated psychiatric problems related to medical conditions

Research Interests
Dr. Wei Jiang leads the Neuropsychocardiology laboratory at Duke Univeristy Medical Center. Dr. Jiang's main research interests include understanding the intrplay between the mind-brain activity and cardiovascular system, and discovering inteventions that modify the negative impact of negative emotions on cardiovascular system. Her research covers the spectrum of epidemiological cohort study, trasnslational investigation, clinical trials, and implementational evaluation. Another research area of Dr. Jiang is to investigaste effective methods for mental health task shifting in low and middle income countries, particularly aiming in China.
