Clinical Interests
Chromosome 22q11 deletion syndrome (also known as DiGeorge syndrome or velocardiofacial syndrome); evaluation and management of children with birth defects, mental retardation, developmental delays

Research Interests
Chromosome 22q11.2 deletion syndrome (also known as velocardiofacial or DiGeorge syndrome: particular interests are in understanding the learning disabilities and the high risk of mental illness in these children as they get older, for which a research study is ongoing. A new study to test a cognitive and social cognitive intervention is underway. Establishing a patient registry for patients with 22q11.2 is also an interest of mine.
