Why did you choose to practice orthopaedic medicine?
I chose orthopaedics because of the impact orthopaedic surgery can have on keeping patients active. I chose trauma because I like the acuity of care.
Why did you choose to work at Duke?
I chose to work at Duke because I love the Triangle area and I knew it would give me the opportunity to treat a variety of patients within my specialty.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
What I find most rewarding is being part of the team that treats trauma patients and helps them return to their pre-trauma life.
