Clinical Interests
Evaluation, diagnosis and management of patients with ocular cancers, including anterior segment and vascular tumors, uveal melanoma, retinoblastoma, and ocular metastases; ophthalmic ultrasound; ocular biopsy; multimodality treatments including tumor resection, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy; diagnosis and surgical treatment of diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular disease, and complex retinal detachments

Research Interests
My research interests are in translational therapies in ocular oncology in particular use of targeted drug therapy in ocular melanomas and retinoblastomas.  I am interested in the use of predictive modelling to define survival characteristics in ocular cancers.   I have clinical interests in novel diagnostic methods for ocular tumors such as melanoma, lymphoma, and retinoblastoma.
Our group has focused on identifying novel patterns in health care delivery and in new techniques for vitreoretinal surgery.  Furthermore, my laboratory interest also includes drug delivery to the retina and choroid with both nanomolecules and sustained drug delivery devices.
