"See and treat" laparoscopic laser excision of endometriosis, pelvic pain, cooperative procreative management, office and operative hysteroscopy, alternatives to hysterectomy, endometrial ablation, minimally invasive surgical treatment of fibroids and abnormal bleeding, robotic surgery, scarless (single- incision) surgery
Research Interests:
Surgical management of endometriosis, fertility-sparing surgery Involved in a multi-center trial comparing laparoscopic excision versus ablation for pain from endometriosis. Interest in a randomized trial comparing medical treatment versus laparoscopic surgery for pelvic pain associated with endometriosis.
Adhesion prevention at laparoscopy: use of barriers, fluids, or surgical techniques Interest in a randomized trial comparing the laparoscopic use of Interceed versus Gore-Tex in the prevention of ovarian or uterine adhesions.
Standardized protocols in the laparoscopic training of residents Involved in a multi-center trial to validate a standardized gynecologic curriculum for resident laparoscopic education
