Surgical management of all spine diseases and deformities, including degenerative disease of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine; spinal oncology, including surgical treatment of primary and metastatic tumors; spinal trauma

Research Interests
He studies clinical and radiological outcomes after spine fusion surgery with a prospective outcomes database, and he has a particular interest in prevention of spinal deformity, infections, complications, and recurrent spinal disease.  Also, he studies whether patient specific variables including pelvic/sacral anatomy and sagittal spinal balance can predict complications from spine surgery.
