We all have things we like about ourselves and things we would like to
change. When the thing you want to change is a physical one, plastic
surgery might be for you.
The most successful plastic surgery happens
when a person desiring a change is also a good candidate for a
procedure that can make that change. The unhappy patient is often one
who had a procedure for which they were not prepared for or not really
a candidate for in the first place.
I am fortunate to be a plastic surgeon at Duke University
Medical Center, one of the premiere institutions in the country. In an
academic practice like mine, there is no pressure to perform plastic
surgery on everyone who walks through the door.
My time can be focused
on helping people make reasonable choices about their desired change. I
provide up to date, unbiased, accurate information to help you make
informed decisions. For some, plastic surgery is not the answer.
I can offer you the safest and most effective means to
achieve your goals, not just the latest, greatest, flash in the pan. My patients are happy because they are receiving the highest quality
plastic surgery at a reasonable price. They are good candidates for
their procedure. They have reasonable expectations about our goals for
surgery and the final result.
I have been in plastic surgery for over a decade and have
seen others come and go. My success in plastic surgery has come one
patient at a time. The only way I can look good is if you look good
and are happy with your result.
