Research Interests
We continue to be leaders in Performance Improvement focusing on improving Qualty, Safety, Financial Viability, communication and Work Culture using several models: The Balanced Scorecard, Team Training and Six Sigma. We have won a Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame and Scientific award at SCCM for our work. Significant accomplishments include: Cost reduction of $3.5M reducing CA-BSI, significant reduction in morbidity and mortality in ICU pts, and increased team satisfaction through improvement of communications during rounds. Our focus on reducing costs while improving quality is nationally recognized.
