Evaluation and treatment of children with developmental disabilities (congenital and acquired), including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, head trauma, Down syndrome, spinal cord injury, retardation, and autism

Research Interests
Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics is the branch of Pediatrics that specializes in the management of the medical problems of children with physical  disabilities.  The principal diagnoses of childen treated are: Cerebral Palsy,Spina Bifida,Down syndrome, head trauma, and autism.  Research pertains to clinical problems of children with these conditions and to genetic factors contributing to condition causation or influencing condition severity.
