Breast cancer, neuropsychologic effects of cancer therapy, depression and anxiety in cancer patients

Research Interests:
Development of Evidence Based Clinical Practice Guidelines for Radiation Oncology.

Assessment of patient anxiety and depression in Oncology.  Clinical trials examining patient education methods as well as therapeutic interventions to decrease anxiety and depression levels in Oncology patients and improve quality of life.

Analysis of patterns of utilization of therapeutic modalities for breast and prostate cancer.

Disparities in care for oncology patients between tertiary care and community hospitals.

Assessment of Neuropsychologic Function in Brain Tumor Patients and the metabolic and functional changes induced by Radiation Therapy.

Normal Tissue Toxicities related to Radiotherapy and use of Functional Imaging Tools to predict outcomes of clinical significance.
