About Me

I am a general cardiologist who focuses on treating patients who are either at risk for or have heart disease. At the end of the day, I get the most satisfaction when I can say I was able to help a patient improve their quality of life. My research interest lies in improving quality of care for patients with heart disease. I have many family members with heart disease, and they inspired me to pursue cardiology as a field of study and practice. As a doctor, I enjoy connecting with my patients and being a sounding board for their concerns. I believe in a team-based approach to care. Any treatment plan that I offer to my patients will be the result of a decision made by a team consisting of my colleagues and me. Outside of work, I enjoy golf, cycling, traveling and hiking.
