Clinical Interests:
Diagnosis, treatment and research involving diseases of the macula, especially AMD, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vascular disease

Research Interests:
Dr. Cousins is involved in clinical trials and innovative therapies for the treatment of macula diseases.  His research also includes various areas of wet and dry macular degeneration.  He is developing blood tests and new imaging technologies for the identification of patients who are at high risk for developing complications of macular degneration.
