Research Interests:
Fitness to dive issues relating to divers with insulin requiring diabetes and other illnesses. I have just completed a major international workshop sponsored by the UHMS and DAN on diabetes and diving in 2005.

Epidemiology of Diving Incidents.  I am involved with the Divers Alert Network in basic research of the incidence, signs and symptoms of Decompression Illness.  We are developing statistical methods to examine both prospectively and retrospectively aspects of exposure that are related to Diving incidents.

Use of differing anesthesia techniques to deal with children with various inborn errors of metabolism.
