Clinical Interests:
Medical and surgical management of glaucoma, cataract surgery with emphasis on combined cataract and glaucoma

Research Interests:
I continue to have an interest in exploring better medical and surgical ways to treat patients and will continue to be involved in clinical trials with industry support.  One area that I want to examine further is the differential burden of OAG on African-derived populations.  This question is multi-faceted, and involves a comprehensive evaluation of hte genetics, economics, accessibility to treatment, and response to therapy of these populations.
