C. difficile disease, other enteric infections, HIV infection

Research Interests:
Dr. Wilson no longer conducts laboratory research, though he works with co-investigators on applications for pyrosequencing in clinical microbiology and on the epidemiology of Clostridium difficile disease.  He is active clinically and has interests in management strategies for HIV infection, treatment of hepatitis-HIV co-infections and effects of mindfulness-based stress reduction on medication adherence, well being and immunological function.  He is also interested in the use of contemplative practices in physician development.
