Current research interests include:
1. The relationship between the inflammatory and pro-coagulant responses occurring within the cerebral circulation and short- and long-term neurocognitive function.
2. The association between genotype and neurocognitive outcome after CABG surgery.
3. Clinical utility of intraoperative myocardial contrast echocardiography.
4. Continuing quality improvement in intraoperative echocardiography.
5. Atrial fibrillation following cardiopulmonary bypass.
