Clinical Interests:
All aspects of geriatric care including comprehensive assessment, falls/mobility, dementia and end of life/palliative care

Research Interests:
Research interests include palliative care and hospice care for end of life. As medical director of Duke Health Community Care and hospice, working to improve programs of hospice care delivery and exploring factors that influence utilization of end of life care among patients and families.

Additional interests include long term care and rehabilitation of the elderly patient (e.g. amputation and Parkinson Disease)
