Research Interests:
The global focus of my research concerns technical improvements in chest radiography. This interest has been manifested in numerous ways including clearer analysis of problems limiting technical excellence as well as the development and testing of strategies designed to overcome some of the inherent limitations in Thoracic Imaging. Examples of research activity initial investigations of advanced multiple beam equalization radiography (AMBER), computed radiography (CR) and most recently selenium based digital radiography. A "spin off " area of investigation interest involves distribution of digital images through picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
