Volunteering at Duke

Eye Center Pediatric Art Cart

Share

Eye Center Art Cart volunteers interact with children to encourage and support art making and other creative activities while they and their families await surgery or doctor visits.

Volunteers should be comfortable working in an outpatient clinic setting with children who have various visual and developmental abilities. The purpose of this project is to help children relax and have fun during their wait.

Volunteers are supervised by the Eye Center Social Worker or the Eye Center Arts coordinator.
