Volunteers at the Duke Eye Center provide a "home-like'
atmosphere in the clinics by lending a hand to help make
patients more comfortable and to improve the patient
experience.
They assist staff with various tasks and provide information
on hospital resources such as dining, the Host Homes program,
"Pink Smock" Gift Shops, and valet parking.
