This volunteer opportunity provides non-medical personnel within the community -- as well as Duke medical professionals and Duke employees -- the opportunity to work as a team assist in disaster relief efforts, including floods, hurricanes, and other natural disasters.

The Duke Medical Assistance Team volunteers work both on a statewide and a global level. Community volunteers with many different skills are welcome, including students, carpenters, translators, administrative and clerical assistants, amateur radio operators, truck drivers, clergy, and many more.
