Duke Employees Making a Difference is a program for Duke University and Health System employees and for retired Duke employees.

This rewarding program requires a one-year commitment and allows Duke employees to volunteer their time with special volunteer projects on a quarterly and as-needed basis at Duke University Hospital.

Activities may include assisting with the annual Volunteer Appreciation Event, helping with activities for National Volunteer Week, bringing employees together to create amenity bags for patients or gathering a group of Duke employees to help a family with an ill child.

Group efforts from Duke employees make a substantial difference in the excellence we strive for at Duke University Hospital, and when our staff gathers together as a unit, we can contribute to the greater good of patients, families, and the community.
