Share

Duke University Health System's community education programs extend to Duke Raleigh Hospital, which regularly offers a wide selection of classes and support groups designed to address current health topics of interest. Many of the events are held at the hospital's convenient location right off I-440, but they also bring Duke expertise to the numerous health fairs and events that pepper the Triangle each year.

Classes

Duke Raleigh Hospital classes change from month to month to address the current health concerns of the community, so there is always something new to discuss and discover. Some, are offered on a routine basis. A few classes charge a nominal fee, but by far the majority are free. A complete schedule of their classes is published on their Classes and Events page.

Previous class topics have included:

  • Thriving With Diabetes
  • AARP 55 Safe Driving Class
  • Pilates Mat Class
  • I Can Cope, A Cancer Lecture Series
