From immunizations and physical examinations to disease prevention and pediatric care, our Peak Family Medicine primary care providers are committed to delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to all of our patients.

 Family medicine services we offer our primary care patients include:

  • Complete physicals: Includes exams for school, sports, immigration, camp, employment, adult yearly exams, exams of immunization needs, preventive medicine needs, and indicated labs for diabetes, high cholesterol, hypertension, and other conditions; advice on improving and maintaining health, exercise, weight control, osteoporosis prevention, etc.
  • Immunizations
  • Chronic illness management: Includes diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, dementia, and hypothyroid
  • Long-term medical care: Continuous care for hundreds of conditions including asthma, diabetes, acne, esophageal reflux, heart disease, insomnia, atrial fibrillation, stroke, allergic rhinitis, erectile dysfunction (ED), depression, COPD, incontinence, hypothyroidism, hypertension, and excessive weight
  • Acute illness management: Includes sick visits, infections, sprains and strains
  • Coordination of care with specialists
  • Care for dermatologic conditions: Includes acne, wart treatment with cryotherapy (freezing), skin biopsies, mole removal, cyst drainage, minor surgical procedures, common rashes, laceration repair, ingrown toe nails, skin tags, and actinic keratosis (sun damage)
  • Pediatric care:
    • Well-child care
    • Sick visits
    • Immunizations
    • Sports physicals
    • Acute childhood infections
  • Women’s health care:
    • Well-woman exams
    • PAP smears
    • Breast exams
    • Family planning
  • On-site blood drawing and laboratory services: Includes rapid strep test, rapid influenza test, diabetes tests, and urinalysis
  • Office tests: Includes on-site EKGs, pulmonary function tests, and hearing and vision testing
  • Joint injections: Includes cortisone treatment for conditions such as tennis elbow, shoulder bursitis, carpal tunnel, arthritis, bursitis, and other conditions
  • Disease prevention strategies:
    • Cancer risk reduction (screening for breast cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, and skin cancer)
    • Immunizations
    • Smoking cessation
    • Cardiac and stroke risk reduction
    • Obesity management
  • Health promotion:
    • Vascular health to decrease risk of stroke, heart attack, peripheral artery disease, and other conditions
    • Healthy lifestyles
