Johnston Hematology / Oncology of Smithfield offers high quality cancer care, medical oncology and hematology consultations, chemotherapy treatments, outpatient IV infusion treatments, injections, and clinical trials. Patient care is managed by Duke medical oncologists.

Johnston Hematology / Oncology offers two outpatient ambulatory clinics where Duke physicians deliver world-class cancer care and manage oncology and hematology problems -- delivering a broad range of diagnostic and treatment options in comfortable, community-based settings.

Our physicians and staff understand the special needs of cancer patients and their families, and strive to translate clinical research findings into the most advanced therapies.

A full-time social worker is available to assist patients and families with their financial and support needs.

Johnston Hematology / Oncology offers a variety of services, including:
