Additional Details

Your child can get a variety of check ups or help with ongoing medical conditions. We provide:

• Help with chronic medical problems such as asthma
• Diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses, such as colds, fever, rashes, and minor illnesses/injuries
• Screening physical exams for sports and camp
• Screening exams for vision, hearing, dental, and nutrition
• Routine immunizations, lab testing, and health education
• On-site mental health screening and counseling to evaluate and treat emotional health needs (with referrals as needed) through the Center for Child & Family Health
• 24-hour coverage through Triangle Family Practice (Fayetteville Road location) when the clinic is closed (evenings, weekends, and school holidays)
• Referrals to specialists for injuries or illnesses that need additional care

Our policy is to call each parent or guardian when a child is seen for a more serious health problem and to send a note home when a child has a simple illness or injury.
