Since 1994, the Duke Family Care Program has worked to improve the lives of mothers with drug and alcohol problems and their children. We work with women regardless of their ability to pay.

Outreach to help women engage in treatment services
Group counseling (at Lincoln Community Health Center)
Individual counseling (at our offices at 2222 Erwin Road, across the street from Duke Hospital, as well as in homes, and at Lincoln Community Health Center)
Dual diagnosis treatment for persons with both mental health and substance abuse issues
Family counseling
Case management
Help connecting you with other agencies for healthcare, job training, residential treatment, arranging day care for children, working out Child Protective Services issues, and more
Help with transportation to and from our locations (usually bus passes)
Help for pregnant women with their prenatal appointments at the Duke OB Clinic
Counseling for children and referral for counseling for children
Referral for developmental evaluation for children
