Karen Burns is the lead research assistant working on the Multimodel Treatment Study of ADHD Children (MTA). She graduated from Duke University in 2007 with a BA in psychology and a second major in political science.

She is currently a graduate student at UNC's School of Social Work. In her spare time, Karen enjoys working with local theaters, traveling, and cooking.
