The Duke ADHD Clinic is a fee-for-service clinic, and we do not accept insurance beyond that which is offered to Duke employees.

For Duke Employees

The Duke ADHD Clinic accepts insurance for ADHD evaluations, group therapy, individual and family therapy, and medication consultation for patients with Duke insurance.

You will be expected to pay your copay at the time of your appointment for each of these services.

Please note that your insurance will not cover school consultation. You will be required to pay in full for this services on the day of your appointment.

For Other Patients

You are expected to pay in full for all services when you check in for your appointment.

We will provide you with a Health Insurance Claim Form, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, if applicable. All of our providers will be considered out-of-network.

In general, school consultation is not reimbursed by insurance. We encourage you to contact your insurance company prior to making your appointment if you intend to seek reimbursement.

Your insurance company may ask you to provide the specific codes we use when billing; we will supply you with those codes when you schedule your appointment.
