Duke University’s Valvular Heart Disease Program is one of the largest programs of its kind in the country and has achieved national recognition for advancement in this field.
Our program offers diagnosis and treatment by expert cardiologists and surgery by renowned surgeons. The program encompasses a large outpatient and inpatient service that treats all forms of valvular heart disease, both before and after repair.
Duke’s Valvular Heart Disease Program employs the latest tools and techniques for diagnosis and repair of diseased heart valves, and offers new and less invasive therapies for valvular disease.
The program is part of the Division of Cardiology, the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, and the Duke Heart Center.
