A stress test uses exercise or medication to increase the work of the heart while equipment monitors heart function.

A cardiopulmonary stress test is an exercise test using either a bicycle or treadmill combined with a mouthpiece for precise measurement of oxygen uptake and carbon dioxide production.

This allows us to obtain extra information about how your heart is working.
