I cut my hand Tuesday the 12th of January and drove myself to your Duke Urgent Care South.

Kevin BoydAs soon as I identified myself and my injury, the staff there went into immediate action. Bill came out to take me back to a room and began treating my hand.

The PA Gerard [Shepherd] was terrific! When he came in, he evaluated my injury and began numbing the cut area and ordered it washed out so he could stitch me up.

I ended up with 18 stitches. Again. . . he was great!

This is a perfect example of the benefit of your centers. I did not have to go to an
emergency room, which I'm so thankful for.
