Diane DavisDiane DavisI am a 31-year survivor of last-stage melanoma. I was diagnosed when my son was three months old.

Thanks to Duke University Medical Center and Dr. Zeigler accepting me as a patient, I received immunotherapy in 1979.

When other doctors see the extent of the scars from the surgery and immunotherapy I underwent, they all remind me of how fortunate I am to have survived.

Thank you for all the research and studies that make people have hope and the chance to write a letter 31 years later.
