My colorectal cancer treatment at Duke has far exceeded my expectations. From the extra efforts made in scheduling my initial visit (on a one-day notice) to the compassionate and caring attention I have received throughout the first phase of my radiation and chemotherapy treatments, I am very confident that I have chosen the right place to be.
All of the people I have met at Duke are hardworking and dedicated professionals. My heartfelt thanks go out to all the doctors: Mantyh, Morse, Willett, and Czito, and their staff. All have been very positive and supportive. I know that they sincerely care for me as their patient.
I was also called by Dr. Willett on a Saturday night at 10 p.m. He was quite concerned about my pain level and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. On Monday morning, Dr. Willett, Dr. Czito, and Madeline Carroll were readily available to help me through the next phase of my pain management.
