Durham, N.C. -- Duke University Medical Center again received a Consumer Choice award for providing quality health care and was recognized as the most-preferred hospital in Durham, North Carolina, in a nationwide consumer survey by the National Research Corporation (NRC). Winning facilities rank highest in their areas based on consumer perceptions of multiple quality and image ratings.
The award recipients are selected from the NRC Healthcare Market Guide, a national consumer health care profile. Data in the guide represent consumer surveys from over 200,000 U.S. households. This is the eleventh year the National Research Corporation has given awards to hospitals chosen as having the highest quality and image in more than 180 markets throughout the United States.
Duke University Medical Center has been designated as the Consumer Choice award recipient in Durham-Chapel Hill for eight consecutive years.
