The Fractional CO2 laser offers a means to skin tightening and minimize wrinkles and pores. This latest laser resurfacing breakthrough allows for faster healing times than traditional carbon dioxide lasers.
Only one treatment is required for the Fractional CO2 laser, unlike Fraxel lasers that can require three to five treatments. Treatments can be done under local anesthesia or IV sedation as an outpatient procedure.
Patients can expect excellent results from this carbon dioxide laser procedure when they have five days to recover; patients with seven days to heal see even more dramatic improvements.
