At Duke Eye Center, many of our patients are in need of a support system to help deal with medical and other issues. To fill this need, we provide a licensed, full-time in-house clinical social worker who can offer counseling to any patient seeing one of our Duke Eye Center ophthalmologists or optometrists.

While our clinical social worker is based in our main Duke Eye Center location in Durham, the service can be used by any patient seeing a Duke Eye Center physician in Raleigh, Cary, or our other locations.
