Panel discussion: “What Do We Mean When We Talk About Voice?”
The human voice is a physiological and acoustic phenomenon which is at the core
of our communication and expression through speech and song. We also refer
to the voice conceptually, as in “the artist’s voice,” “the voice of the people,”
and “the still, small voice of conscience.”
Tom Rankin, Director of the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University, author Clyde Edgerton, and Tift Merritt will join the vocal health experts of Duke Voice Care Center to discuss the many facets of the human voice.
