Perinatal Loss Education and Support Class

Getting in Shape After Baby

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Bring baby and practice movements to regain core stability and strength. This 6 week series of classes is targeted to new moms who are just beginning to exercise after pregnancy. Moms should be at least 6 weeks but not greater than 3 months postpartum when beginning class. If you experienced a cesarean birth, please bring medical clearance from your physician to exercise.

Gastrointestinal and Pancreatic Cancer Support Group
2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
A weekly support group for those with gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancers.

Prepared Childbirth

Increase your confidence in the birthing process by attending a series of classes (4 classes – April 28, 30, May 5, 7) that includes information and practice sessions on: *Signs and stages of labor *Breathing techniques *Medical Interventions *Pain management options *Positioning for comfort *Postpartum Information *Role of the support person *What to expect in the hospital. Educators trained as Lamaze certified childbirth instructors (LCCE) teach all classes at Teer House. The eight (8) hour series is available on weekdays or weekends.
