A class focusing on the decision to breastfeed including information on: advantages and barriers to breastfeeding; how to establish breastfeeding routines; techniques to accomplish satisfactory breastfeeding; how to recognize and avoid potential challenges. Dad/Support Person encouraged to attend with Mom. Fee - $15
Infant Massage Class

This 4 week series will introduce mothers to the basics of infant massage. Infants ages 1 month – 6 months may participate. Plan to attend all four classes (October 26, 28, November 2, 4). Please call 477-2644 if you have questions about your infant participating in this class. (Class Fee - $40)
Getting in Shape After Baby

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Bring baby and practice movements to regain core stability and strength. This 6 week series of classes is targeted to new moms who are just beginning to exercise after pregnancy. Moms should be at least 6 weeks but not greater than 3 months postpartum when beginning class. If you experienced a cesarean birth, please bring medical clearance from your physician to exercise.

New Daddy=New Role: Tools for New Dads

New dads and soon-to-be dads will learn how to begin their own routines with a new baby, balance work and family, and foster their relationship with mom. Dads are encouraged to bring babies with them.

A class touching on general information for expectant parents regarding the basics of baby care (feeding, bathing, diapering, etc.). A practical demonstration utilizing a baby model will be offered.
