Getting in Shape After Baby

Bring baby and practice movements to regain core stability and strength. This 6 week series of classes is targeted to new moms who are just beginning to exercise after pregnancy. Moms should be at least 6 weeks but not greater than 3 months postpartum when beginning class. If you experienced a cesarean birth, please bring medical clearance from your physician to exercise. Join us immediately afterward for “Motherhood: The New Reality Show”.

Coping with the Stress of Illness: A Self-Care Workshop

This 2 class series (April 26 & 27, 2008) will include information on: signs of labor, stages of labor, comfort measures, pain management options, role of the coach, breathing techniques, vaginal and cesarean births, coping with unexpected outcomes, and hospital routines.
