A class focusing on the decision to breastfeed including information on: advantages and barriers to breastfeeding; how to establish breastfeeding routines; techniques to accomplish satisfactory breastfeeding; how to recognize and avoid potential challenges. Prepared Childbirth from Duke Women's Health Associate/Maternal Fetal Medicine/Durham OB

Register today for this innovative, weekend series at Duke Health Center Southpoint and learn about signs and stages of labor, active coaching techniques, vaginal and complete cesarean birth education, birth plan consultations, pain management, and more. Space is limited so register early by calling 919-970-0024.

Infant and Child Pediatric Life Support

Participants will receive an introduction to infant and child safety strategies along with being trained by the American Heart Friends and Family CPR standards for Infant and Child CPR. $35 for an individual/$50 for a couple.
