Moms should be at least 6 weeks but not greater than 3 months postpartum when beginning class. If you experienced a cesarean birth, please bring medical clearance from your physician to exercise.

A weekly support group for those with gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancers.

To assist mothers to make informed decisions about pain relief during labor, this class provides detailed information about epidural analgesia along with a brief description of other pain relief options. Geared for patients birthing at Duke and Durham Regional hospital, dads and partners/support persons are encouraged to attend the discussion about these options. Class is facilitated by an anesthesiologist and nurse who provide care in the Duke Birthing Center. Note- those wanting indepth knowledge about the labor process and all pain relief options are encouraged to register for a Prepared Childbirth class.
