This 4 class series (April 3,10,17,24, 2008) will include information on: signs of labor, stages of labor, comfort measures, pain management options, role of the coach, breathing techniques, vaginal and cesarean births, coping with unexpected outcomes, and hospital routines. Bring baby and practice movements to regain core stability and strength. This 6 week series of classes is targeted to new moms who are just beginning to exercise after pregnancy. Moms should be at least 6 weeks but not greater than 3 months postpartum when beginning class. If you experienced a cesarean birth, please bring medical clearance from your physician to exercise. Join us immediately afterward for “Motherhood: The New Reality Show”.

Low Carb/Low-Glycemic Diet Support Group

Support group for those who are currently using a low-glycemic or low-carbohydrate approach to diet (along with exercise and stress management) to stabilize blood sugar, improve cardiovascular health, and lose weight.
