Duke Raleigh Hospital offers a Pre-Operative Orthopaedic Replacement Surgery Class for all patients and family members. The class covers what you can expect before, during and after surgery.

This 4 class series (January 3,10,17,24) will include information on: signs of labor, stages of labor, comfort measures, pain management options, role of the coach, breathing techniques, vaginal and cesarean births, coping with unexpected outcomes, and hospital routines. Expectant parents are encouraged to complete the series between 33-37 weeks of pregnancy. Register early by calling 919-416-DUKE (919-416-3853). Fee - $80
