Safe Driving Course

A 2 part series (April 3&4), for motorists age 50 and older. Learn about normal changes in vision, hearing, reaction time, and practical techniques to compensate for these changes. No tests, no driving. Lunch break on your own. (FEE - $10)

Prepared Childbirth

6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
This 4 class series (April 3,10,17,24, 2008) will include information on: signs of labor, stages of labor, comfort measures, pain management options, role of the coach, breathing techniques, vaginal and cesarean births, coping with unexpected outcomes, and hospital routines. Expectant parents are encouraged to complete the series between 33-36 weeks of pregnancy. Register early by calling 919-416-DUKE (919-416-3853). Fee - $80.
