Please join us for a concert and documentary film featuring Marcy Brenner, a breast cancer survivor who received a bone marrow transplant at Duke for metastatic breast cancer and has been in remission since 2000.
Her inspiring story is now featured in the highly acclaimed documentary Dead Girl Walking -- an "intimate and spirited story of a young woman's survival and the back-handed gifts her adventure with illness bestowed on her life."
Marcy and her husband, both professional musicians, will play in the Duke Unversity Hospital Courtyard from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Dead Girl Walking will be shown at noon in the Rauch Conference room (15103) of the Morris Building.
Marcy will talk about her experience and answer questions after the viewing.
