Description

Please join us to raise money and support our fight against colon cancer. Register to run, walk, or just come out to give your support to the participants.

We encourage you to bring your family, and we will have activities for the kids. Paid registration includes t-shirt, goodie bag, and box lunch.

Our goal is to raise funds to educate the public on colon cancer awareness, screening, and prevention. Colorectal cancer is cancer of the colon and/or rectum. It is equally common in both men and women -- 153,760 cases were estimated to be diagnosed in 2007, with 52,180 people projected to die of the illness. It is also one of the most easily prevented cancers because it can develop from polyps that can be removed before they become cancerous.

Registration forms are due Friday, March 8. Registration will be available the day of the event but will not include t-shirt or box lunch.
